The available working days in the year for the company are introduce to the formula and gives the operational manager to flexibility to set schedules and develop the company's shifts for the day as needed for the production levels desired.

True, the simplicity if the linear programming model is its agility to include the constraint and other input parameters. Project managers can simply check the optimal solution under different input conditions. For example, change in transportation costs can be easily entered into the lpp model and rerunning the solver will provide a optimal solution under the changed condition. This agility is not provided by many other models. Additionally, another constraints can be added simply by adding another constraints. For example, during production if one of the supplier says that this month he can only supply a certain quantity. This additional constraint can be added wuth just one equation.
