Explanation / Answer
1.Some of the management skills which I feel that I exhibit are the problem solving skills, time management skills, listening skill and interacting skills. I feel that being a manager these basic skills are very important and these skills have helped me a lot in managing the team and bringing the desired output from them. I exhibit patience in listening to the concerns and issues of the employees as well as the situation which enables me to find appropriate alternatives for solving the issues. I give preference to the time management and punctuality which is very relevant for the successful accomplishment of the projects.
2. Being a diverse work place the attitude and behavior of the employees plays a vital role in the productivity of the organization. From my point of view I give reference to the team work which can increase the productivity. I give importance to the opinions and suggestions of my higher and lower level employees which make others to respect and open towards to me. I believe in information sharing and coordination which can contribute towards to self and organizational goal achievement.
This attitude has been gathered with 5 years of experience as an employee and as a manager. This experience has shaped my behavior.
3. My skills, behavior and attitudes have served me with many advantages and disadvantages.
The advantage is that I could get respect from other and could improve my performance efficiency through team work and coordination. I could help others for enhancing their performance which enabled the quick achievement of the organizational goals. The negative side is that the team work and the information sharing have bought many conflicts within the team.
