1. 4Al + 3O2------->2Al2O3. Without doing the calculations, as per the data 12 atoms of Al reacts with 11 molecules of Oxygen. This suggests that all the Al reacts ( limiting reactant) and Oxygen is the excess reactant.

2. As per the reaction, 4 atoms of Al reacts with 3 molecles of Oxygen to give 2 molecules of Al2O3. 12 atoms of Al requires 9 molecules of oxygen to give 6 molecules of Al2O3. Hence, excess molecules of oxygen remaining = 11-9=2
