Life cycle ofplasmodium : Sporozoites enter the blood stream When aninfected mosquito takes a blood meal from a person. The Sporozoitemigrates to the liver , where they multiply , transforming liverhepatocytes into gaint multinucleate schizonts, which releasethousands of merozoites into the blood stream.The Merozoites infectred blood cells, which eventually rupture , releasing moremerozoites. Eventually some of the merozoites differentiate intomale and female gametocytes which are injested by a mosquito anddifferentiate into gametes. The gametes fuse to form azygote thatdifferentiates tothe sporozoite stagewithinth      e salivary gland of themosquito
