3. On the basis of the results in the six test tubes, the position of hydrogen in the electrochemical series cannot be fixed accurately as the results are far off from the hydrogen. The posiiton approximately can be fixed as hydrogen is below Ag and Cu. Also approximaetly hydrogen can be placed above Mg, Zn and Pb. But accurate position can only be determined by doing some more sets of experiments.
4. To acvurately determine the position of hydrogen in the electrochemical series we would choose metals whose reduction potentials are very close to 0 value (which is taken for hydrogen). We would run similar experiments and this should give us the accurate position of hydrogen in the series.
