Question

Conditional format a:J in the row if it contains the word Due

Hi,

I have searched and have not been able to find a specific post or solution to my quest.

I have a spreadsheet with data in columns a:j. If column f contains spedific text I would like to highlight the entire row. My report will vary in length from week to week but the columns will remain fixed.

I can use the conditional formatting - highlight cell rules -text that contains and get the hightligh for column f. Would like to highlight the entire row. Can someone please help me with a formula to accomplish this? The cell in F may or may not have some spaces before the text due. I can't figure out how to get the formula for contains.

Thanks for you help !!

Home tab | Conditional formatting | New rule | use a formula to decide which cells to format and enter this formula.

=ISNUMBER(SEARCH("Due",$F1))
