Excel Table That Is Linked To SharePoint List - Creating Formulas

We have several SharePoint lists that we have exported to Excel workbooks. They can be used as any other table in Excel for things like pivoting, etc, but when I try to make a column with a formula in it, I only see the actual formula, not the result of the formula. For example, if I make FormulaTestColumn and type in there

and click enter, I do not see the result of this formula, I only see the formula. The "show formulas" button in the Ribbon is not clicked, and formulas work fine elsewhere in the workbook.

How can I make formulas put in tables with linked data resolve as formulas?

This is a recurring issue.

Hi..

Select this cell, right click, format cells, select GENERAL and OK out. With the cell selected tap F2 and enter and see if that fixes it.
