(5.00 g of C4H63O )(1 mol of C4H6O3 /102 g ofC4H6O3 )( 1 mol of C9H8O4/1 mol of C4H63O) = 0.049 mol ofC9H8O4 (4.35g of C7H6O3)(1 mol C7H6O3 /138 g C7H6O3)(1 molC9H8O4/C7H6O3) = 0.032 mol of C9H8O4 since C7H6O3 produced the least amount of moles, this is thelimiting reactant now to find the theoretical yield.
