a. Increasing the acrylamide concentration with proportional increase in cross-linking.

b. Increasing the pH of the TRIS-glycine buffer to 9.5

c. Decreasing the voltage at which the gel was run.

Explanation / Answer

With the incerease in crosslinking among the molecules they are able to resolve smaller protiens with low molecular mass.

concentration can be varied from 5 %- 25 %. high molecular mass proteins will get resolved wen concentration is low.

B) Increasing the pH may lead to interaction with the protien molecules and may not yeild the desired results.

C) decreasing Voltage would provide more accurate results but would take up more time.
