6. True. Peptidoglycan is a part of cell wall and is composed of sugars and amino acids which form a mesh like layer outside the plasma membrane of most of the bacteria. Since mycoplasma doesn't contain a cell wall, it also doesn't contain peptidoglycan.

7. True. Pencillin inhibits the formation of peptidoglycan cross-links and kill the bacteria. Therefore, they are bactericidal.

8. False. West nile is a group of diseases caused by West Nile virus which is carried by a culicine mosquito rather than anopheline. Cules mosquito is a prominent example of a carrier of this virus.

9. False. Malaria is not caused by a bacteria but a protozoa called from Plasmodium species. Therefore it is not microbial but protozoan in origin.
