(b) Assuming a "safe" concentration of Adderall is 3.4 x 102 M, should you pull your pills off the market?

Concentration of A [A] = 4.30×10-3M

Concentration of B [B] = 3.20×10-3M

hA /[A] = F{hY/[B]} where F is the response factor

1231/4.30×10-3 = F{1287/3.20×10-3}

F = 0.711

(2) hA = 1543, [A] = unknown

hY = 1399, [Y] = 6.7×10-3M, F = 0.711

1543/[A] = 0.711{1399/6.7×10-3]

[A] = 10.39×10-3M

As the safe concentration for A is 3.4×10-2M, the concentration calculated is less than the safe concentration value of A, so it is safe to keep the pills in the market and is not required to pull off.
