Question
Calculate the heat that must be supplied to 0.104g of Ne(g) at 0.250 atm to raise its temperature from 22.0 degree Celsius to 60.0 degree Celsius at
a) constant pressure
b) constant volume. Assume that neon behaves as an ideal gas.
This question was asked but it still wasn't clear...I calculated the constant pressure by doing Constant pressure is = to 5/2R since Ne is just an atom. I got 20.785J/kmol. So i plugged everything in q= .005136mol *20.785J/kmol*38K where I got about 4.4 Joules of heat.
Was this the correct way of doing this problem?
