Question

Hi all! I'm a little rusty on these kinds of calculations. Can any one help me solve these two questions, showing your work so I can understand your methodology? I will rate ;-)

1.  Using the HH eq, calculate the amounts of monosodium phosphate (NaH2PO4; MW = 120.01 g/mol) and disodium phosphate (Na2HPO4; MW = 141.96 g/mol) required to prepare 100. mL of a 100. mM phosphate buffer at pH 6.5.

1.   Calculate the expected pH of each of the following solutions before and after the addition of HCl in the table below. Show calculations for solution #2.  Hint: you can use Excel to quickly compute each column after you insert an equation for one column.
