There have been attempts to encode and send messages into outer space in the hope that some extraterrestrial intelligence will find the messages, read and understand them, and know that the human race exists as well as something about us. The two most prominent attempts at this have been the Pioneer Plaque and the Voyager Golden Disc. The plaque was sent into space in 1972/3 with the Pioneer missions, and the disc was included on Voyager missions beginning in 1977. These have now left the Solar System and are on their way across the universe. The objectives of this assignment are twofold: Explain how you interpret the messages on the Pioneer Plaque and Voyager Golden Disk. Explain how you think they might be interpreted or misinterpreted by an alien intelligence and explain why you think that. Say what you feel to be the most useful piece of information conveyed by each of the two attempts, and explain why you feel that way. Construct a new message to be sent into space with the same purpose as previous efforts. Explain what kind of information you want to include, as well as how and why you have chosen to encode this information in the way you have in your design. Explain how your design overcomes any deficiencies in previous attempts and why yours is likely to be more successful.

Pioneer plaques and Golden Records are very good efforts in the search of the extraterrestrial life, it was conducted in 1972-73 In which plaques shows nude figures of a human male and female along with several symbols to represent the origin of spacecraft. It’s important because it was the first man made object that have the escape velocity from the solar system. Plaques were attached to the spacecraft antenna in order to act as an shield to protect by erosion by interstellar dust. Where as Voyager Golden Record are the phonograph records that were being aboard by Voyager spacecraft which was launched in 1977, they contain sound and images to display about the diversity of life and culture on earth. It’s expected that by 40,000 years Voiger will pass within 1.6 light-years.
I fell that it is containing enough information to support that life exist on earth. Well It’s very difficult to say how the alien life would behave or they’ll react after decoding our message, as we are unaware of their language what we can expect that they might have been more advanced species so they can decode our message and they can reply us until then we have to keep our finger cross and we have to await for their reply. I too believe that in this entire universe are numerous planet on which life exist as we cant be alone in this universe as the life on this planet maybe came from the some outer space it’s evidence comes from the carbonates asteroids which have been found on this planet which have the signature of the basic building blocks of life i.e., Amino-acid then there is more likelihood that this same type of comet would have fallen on some other planet in the space. Wile siting on this earth we can only imagine until we get some positive affirmation in this view
