There have been attempts to encode and send messages into outer space in the hope that some extraterrestrial intelligence will find the messages, read and understand them, and know that the human race exists as well as something about us. The two most prominent attempts at this have been the Pioneer Plaque and the Voyager Golden Disc. The plaque was sent into space in 1972/3 with the Pioneer missions, and the disc was included on Voyager missions beginning in 1977. These have now left the Solar System and are on their way across the universe. The objectives of this assignment are twofold: Explain how you interpret the messages on the Pioneer Plaque and Voyager Golden Disk. Explain how you think they might be interpreted or misinterpreted by an alien intelligence and explain why you think that. Say what you feel to be the most useful piece of information conveyed by each of the two attempts, and explain why you feel that way. Construct a new message to be sent into space with the same purpose as previous efforts. Explain what kind of information you want to include, as well as how and why you have chosen to encode this information in the way you have in your design. Explain how your design overcomes any deficiencies in previous attempts and why yours is likely to be more successful.

I personally believe this two great quest effort as an ground breaking effort in the quest of the search of the extra terrestrial life, this two great effort was an very good effort in, Well for me when relating to the decrypting the message it’ll be totally depend upon the skills how I’ll be going to read it out well being an human and being human being and the know how of the content it’s very easy for me to decode it where as for an alien or an extra terrestrial intelligence it’s an again an question there is an most likelihood that their can be difference in the language or the know how If the extra terrestrial life is more advance than us then it’ll be most likelihood that the messages will be decrypted in an positive way cause I expect that they will be able to read out the messages in an positive direction and they can revert to us and they can try to get in touch equally there is an likelihood if this intelligence is not advance to that of ours then they can react in an negative way and they can attach us. I am very much hopeful that they will behave in positive sense in this regard and they will learn about us and send some positive affirmation rather than in negative way, I belie there is more likelihood that they can be able to see though more than three dimension.

Well regarding to the reconstructing about the new messages I feel that messages is self sufficient and it contain all the information about our planet where as it lacks only regard to the present level of technology it’s missing from that tape well I believe that the space craft that is caring all the information can also depict a lot of information regarding the present level of know how. I’ll regard few sample copies of different samples to be send along with this tape this can help them to get an idea about our planet. Well I believe that there is no defect with the tape part but the question is does it’ll reach to the destination or not or it’ll be lost in the space or it may can get destroyed by any impact by the extraterrestrial object.
