Biology Question about Fetal Pigs: Please explain your answer please note my discussion after the question, thanks!!
Which of the following is NOT true of the pancreas of the pig?
alpha cells produce glucagon which also helps regulate sugar
E. the pancreas produces pancreatic juice, a mixture of digestive enzymes and bicarbonate, which enters the digestive system in the small intestine.
Discussion: I am not sure if there is a wrong answer to this question because I beleive that the function of the Pancreous is to create digestive enzymes and blood glucose reglatory hormones such as glycagon and insulin. Both alpha and beta cells create glycagon and insulin respectfully so I am not sure of the correct answer.
