Include that determines the control of said division, which are the control points and checkpoints of cell division. Mention which is the most important control point and discuss the reason why that point is more important than the others.Explanation / Answer
There is a 4 check points present in the cell cycle at G1, S, G2 and M phase respectively. In this G1, S and G2 are control by 2 protein kinases ATM and ATR. ATM recognize the damage DNA and ATR operates in S phase it is responsible to find the unreplicated DNA. If they find any damage in DNA they activate a signaling pathwyas that leads to cell cycle arrest, DNA repair or Apoptosis.
In M phase spindle assembly checkpoint is present it plays a major role to mointor the alignment of chromosomes on the mitotic spindle, it make sure the complete set of chromosomes distributed to the daughter cells.
G1 phase check point is most important control point. This stage only decide whether the cell has too divide or not. Once it cross this check point what ever may be the cell has to cross all the check point and division take place.
