Explanation / Answer

Federalist party was the first American political party. It favored national bank, national over state government, manufacturing, and in world affairs it favored Britain and opposed the French Revolution because the American delegation was disrespected in Paris in the XYZ affair and thus public opinion ran strongly against the French. Due which there was an undeclared "Quasi-War" with France from 1798 to 1800. The Federalists called for a resilient national government which promoted economic growth and nurtured friendly affairs with Great Britain. It was committed to a fiscally sound and nationalistic government.

Federalist policies position included a national bank, tariffs and involved assumption of the state debts which were incurred in the course of the American Revolution, forming a national debt and the way to pay it off and setting up a national bank including to create tariffs.

The Alien Act authorized the President to extradite such aliens as he declared to be dangerous while as Sedition Act made it a crime to print false, scandalous and malicious criticisms of the federal government. The former restricted the activities of foreign residents in the country and latter limited freedom of speech and of the press. For the survival of United states, the extradition of aliens who are dangerous is the most necessary part.
