(b) when moving along the x axis at speed 375, there isa mag force in the z direction only from the y component of the Bfield. So .     Mag force = q v B = 5.60x 10-6 * 375 * 1.4   =  0.002940 N . The elec force is still there, so .     total force =      0.001372i   +   0.002940 k . (c) Now when it moves along the z axis, there is a magneticforce from each of the y and x components .    mag force in x direction, from ycomponent:     0.002940 in -xdirection . mag force in y direction, from x component:  5.60 x 10-6 * 375 * 1.8 =   0.003780 . total force then, including 0.001372 in x direction fromelec force is .       -0.001568 i  + 0.003780 j .
