when the car is moving with uniform velocity the netforce acting on the car = 0 i.e opposing force = -150,000N . since the effective breaking force on the car is, F = 200000N the decelleration of the car a = F / m m = mass of the car for the car to come to rest ,if the time taken ist V = u - at final velocity v = 0 , intial velocity u =20m/sec a = decelleration of the car from above relation we can solve for ' t ' if S be the distance travelled by the car before it come torest in a time ' t ' S =ut -at^2 / 2 . plugging in the knwon values we can sovle for ' S '.Related Questions
