This is part two of a three part question, please show work and, if you could, please explain.

Question: What is the smallest tension that the rope must hold if the knight is to pass the moat?

Description: A Knight rides slowly out of the castle and on a 12.0 m long drawbridge that passes over the moat. A rope attached to the castle and the end of the drawbridge forms an angle = 30.0 degrees when the drawbridge is horizontal. The bridge itself has a uniform mass of 400 kg. the Knight is a total mass of 550 kg.

Explanation / Answer

in that case,
550g*(l) + 400g*(l) = T*sin30*(l)

so, T = 18620N <--------(answer part 2)
