Question

GENERAL PHYSICS PHY2049 A) 0.62 T 0.35mT D) 0.3I mT 0.10 mt 13. Two parallel arsd coaxial current hoops of radius ..re way beten the lonps the errent in both loops is clockwise. At a point on the asis halr way between the loops the magnetie field in T has magnituwle A) 0. C) D) 5 32 14. The three loops of wire shown in the figure are all subject E) 20 to the same uniform magnetic field B that does not pendul end of a spring. Which loop, or loops, will have an emf induced in them? vary with time. Loop 1 oscillates back and forth as the bob in a um, loop 2 rotates about a vertical axis, and loop 3 oscillates up and down at the A) loop I only B) loop 2 only C) loop 3 only D) loops 1 and 2 E) loops 2 and 3 5. A coil lies flat on a tabletop in a region where the magnetic field vector points straight down. The magnetic field vanishes suddenly. When viewed from above, what is the direction of the induced current in this coil as the field fades? A) counter-clockwise then clockwise B) clockwise then counter-clockwise C) clockwise ) counter-clockwise Pag

Explanation / Answer

ANS 14) option B will be answer, only in 2.

because here magnetic field is constant so flux will induce only when there will be change in the angle between B and their direction of motion then only there will be change in the magnetic field passing through that loop. loop 1 and 3 are osscilating in the plane of B so there will be no change in the magnetic field lines passing through then but in loop 2 , there will be change in magnetic field lines so flux will produce .

ANS 15) option C will be answer. clockwise

because vector B is in downward direction so current must be flowing in clockwise direction becuase if we rotate the fingers in clockwise direction the thumb will point in downward direction, giving the direction of B vector. Here magnetic field is vanishing so the induce current will oppose this change so it will flow as before in the same direction only .
