Question
Two plastic spheres, each carrying charge uniformly distributed throughout its interior, are initially placed in contact and then released. One sphere has a diameter of 65.0cm , a mass of m1= 55.0g , and contains -12.0?C of charge. The other sphere has a diameter of 40.0cm , a mass ofm2 = 160.0g and contains -26.0MicroC of charge. Assume that no other forces are acting on them.

I can not get my answers to match up. Remember conversions to C, m, and kg. Please provide an answer for the following (no work needed):
a.Find the maximum speed achieved by the sphere of mass 55.0 g
b.Find the maximum speed achieved by sphere of mass 160.0 g
Explanation / Answer
a)
conservation of momentum:
m1 v1 = m2 v2
==> v2 = m1/m2 v1 = 55/160 v1 = 0.34375 v1
conservation of energy:
0.5 m1 v1^2 + 0.5 m2 v2^2 = k q1 q2/((D1+D2)/2)
0.5*0.055*v1^2 + 0.5*0.160*(0.34375 v1)^2 = 9e9*12e-6*26e-6/((0.65+0.40)/2)
0.036953125 v1^2= 5.34857
==> v1 = 12.0 m/s
b)
v2 = 0.34375 v1 = 4.14 m/s
