In the saw blade control circuit, the motor starter overload contact stops the motor when a sustained over- load occurs. The additional current drawn as the saw blade wears is not detected by the motor starter over- load. To detect the additional current, a current monitor is used. A current monitor is set to detect a current that is higher than normal but lower than a sustained overload. The current monitor has no built-in time delay. Because all motors draw higher-than-normal current when starting, an on-delay relay is used with a current monitor in motor circuits. The on-delay relay prevents the current monitor from de-energizing the motor starter during normal motor startup. 2. Redraw the saw blade control circuit line diagram, adding the current monitor and an on-delay relay from Data Sheet F on page 394. Add the current monitor so the motor starter is de-energized when the current monitor detects blade wear. Add the on-delay relay to prevent the current monitor contacts from de-energizing the s monitor and on-delay relay. The current monitor is set for 4 A, and the overload contacts are set for 6 A. Mark the on-delay relay setting for 5 sec. tarter during normal motor startup. Mark all terminal connections from the current L1 POWER LINE TO MOTOR

Explanation / Answer

Correct option is B for this problem because in all remaining circuit diagram relay switch(TRA) is closed.
