Research the current U.S. farm price support programs including subsidies. Do you think government support to U.S. farm price support programs is higher than $420 Billion that is needed for establishing a modern solar power system infrastructure in the United States? At the same time, authors and many other experts believe that “greatest obstacle to implement a renewable US energy system is neither technology nor money; it is the lack of public awareness that solar power is a practical alternative”. Do you agree or not? Explain your justification with supporting ideas and examples.

With change in the right path comes a better world to live in.

I completely disagree with the Government support programs including subsidies that's one of the main reason why people of The U.S are not switching to other sources of power generation because they are comfortable with what they get at a low price.

if solar energy is treated equally with the conventional power production methods and by removing subsidies (included with the latter one) the market value of solar energy will definately be enhanced. but the problem is within us we dont want unwanted money investment.

mentioned above that lack of public awareness and no reliance in solar technologies is a major obstacle towards the growth and expansion of solar energy use. people in the US often accentuated the need for more and better solar information but were never provided with so they ultimately show lack of interest and confidence.

extensive use of solar energy is also affected by the government poor policies and market conditions, lacking interests leading to lack of demand and application.

there must be a point of time where there is a growth of solar energy growth , widespread use and motivation among the people to use solar energy with acceptance while less prefering to fuel combustion methods.

which pours thousands and millions of pollutants into the air thus increasing global warming and threatning the earth.

with solar we can run our homes , offices, industries, automobiles any many more, because the time has come to stop using fuels, power plants , coals, gasoline in order to make our and future genaration life a better one.

once the government starts removing subsidies on the conventional power generation, people would automatically will move to solar power. instead of giving subsidies the government should give subsidies to small producers who are willing towards solar and lacks funds.

moreover the US is very lucky to have its much lands compatible to solar radiation to endow solar energy.

finally i would like to say that though $420 billion is a very big investment for a modern power system infrastructure but it's outcome will be a much greater one for a better environment, as this consumes almost no fuel.
