Yes, I agree that diversity in the team is very important factor at work place, when you think about the diversity first thing come in the mind is cultural background , age, gender, race etc. even though we share the information with other people, at the end of the day everyone is having their own personality and can bring the different things on the table, this is why diversity is so important at the work place. Hiring individual different personality and varied stages of their career will help organization to foster creativity, innovation and offers range of ideas and perspective.
Diversity at the work place will foster the mutual respect with each other. the employees works in a team includes the co-workers with different work style, or who represents the different work culture or different generation, a synergistic work environment become the norm, The idyllic environment is may be difficult to achieve, employees will recognize the many individuals strength and talent , such diversity will bring the respect to their colleagues. People from different backgrounds will offer a selection of the variety of skills, talents and experience, i will help organization and also for work performance. some crossover of skills are advantageous when it comes to assisting among the people, it is very important to hire the people whose skills are fit into each of the roles in the organization. Different variety of skills also means that employees can learn more from each other. By working along with the different background people, with different work style and experience, an innovative and creative concepts will born from bouncing ideas of people and offers suggestion and feedback. for example one person is having relative mind who gives the out of box idea, while other person is having necessary experience to execute the idea, so it is necessary to pay attention on the individuals strength and collaborate among the team.
Cultural difference and the language barrier some times acts as a barrier to the company, However hiring the people who speaks variety of language will help the company to work on a global business and interact with the broader client base. Individuals with different nationalities in your organization will help to make it more related. Employees will feel more comfortable and happy in the work environment on which inclusivity is having more priority. Equality in the work place is more important to encourage the employees of different background to feel confident in individuals ability and achieve their best to the company. the higher team morale will lead productive employee.
