Explanation / Answer

Relationship between Features and Values for Production or Procurement Order:

Reason for order release could be due to sudden demand, predicted demand or periodic usage. Periodic usage or predicted demand fall under push strategy whereas sudden demand or unexpected demand fall under pull strategy. Either way order release is directly correlated to demand (expected/unexpected).

Batch Size could vary depending on the product being produced or procured. It can also vary based on the contract in place. It can be as low as a single item or small/large batches of fixed sizes. Sometimes varying sizes of batches are also delivered if the requirement is such.

Depending on the product being produced/procured, the traceability varies. For a single item often traceability is not in place but for lots or batches the package is traceable in terms of its position/placement in the warehouse or during shipment.

Sometimes orders are periodically replenished without a proper logistics network whereas sometimes these orders are replenished based on usage/demand but through improper logistics. These loops in order structure depend on direct/indirect network.
