Actus Reus can be defined as an external element of a crime which is combined with the mens rea which produces a crime liability in the common law .

mens rea can be defined as an intention of the wrong doing as a part of a crime which is put in the opposition of the action of conduct for the accused.

Nonviolent

White Collar crimes are usually non violent and does not involve any kind of violent activities. Rather than involvement of violent activities, white Collar crimes are usually based on wrongdoings with the funds.

Financially motivated

White Collar crimes include extreme amount of finances. This increased amount of finances provoke the businesses as well as of government officials to corrupt themselves for earning larger amount of finances in a very little time by unlawful means.

Preparated by someone with authority

White Collar crimes are usually prepared by authoritative bodies of the government as well as the businesses. These authoritative bodies use their powers to create financial imbalance in the organisation or use this power to get bribes or give out illegal permissions.

Usually by a business or Corporation

Businesses and corporations are the main parts of the White Collar crime as most of the government officials work for larger businesses as they involve very large amount of funds and benefits.
