Confidence of 1-> 2 is given by Support Count(1,2) / Support Count(1)

Confidence of 2 -> 1 is given by Support Count(1,2) / Support Count(2)

Though Support Count(1,2) is common, it is not necessary that Support Count(1) and Support Count(2) should be same.

d. i. 1 -> 2 would be recommended since the confidence level is high and confidence / expected_confidence = n is large. Hence we can be sure that 1 and 2 would be related.

ii. Not recommended since lift is close to 0. If the confidence level is very less than expected_confidence, lift would be cloe to 0.

iii & iv. High support alone not sufficient to make recommendation about the product.
