Suppose you do a preliminary research on a robot system design. This robot is similar to iRobot Roomba. On the top of the robot there are a series of buttons used for basic automated control: these buttons will send the robot out to clean. On the bottom are wheels designed to navigate carpet, hardwood floors, or tile. Also on the bottom side are bristles in order to sweep the floors. On the sides are sensors that can search for walls, objects that would obstruct its path, and virtual walls set up by the user. When it is finished cleaning or the battery runs low it will navigate back to its charging station to recharge.Explanation / Answer
To using this robot we can solve the problem cleaning floor,it makes easier to clean floors and helping people who are suffered back pain and broken arms ,aged people also.
Functionalities:
1.Smart sensors:Using iadapt 2.0 navigation using high efficiency cleaning pattern and the sensors slow the machine down using a forward-facing infrared lighting technology to detect change in the floor's surface and to map.
2. Scheduled Cleaning
The Robot settings are customizable, so a user can schedule cleaning times for each day of the week. It will continuously working up to 2 hours and automatically recharges and cleaning resume job and complete entire job.
3.Hands free cleaning: The Robot offers hands-free cleaning for any floor surface. It cleans crapts of a variety of thickness levels, as well as smooth floor surfaces, such as hardwood, tile, or linoleum. The smart sensors on the machine and the settings the user chooses keep the robot vacuum performing the task without malfunction.
4.Visual localization: The main advantage our robot is it has coverage of entire home by create visual land marks using irobots proprietary Vslm technology so it doesn’t lose where it is.
