The company I have previously worked for was MAK V engineering pvt limited. The company deals in the energy simplification and solution services. It also involves itself in the renewable energy services like installation of rainwater harvesting mechanism for bigger companies, solar panel setup etc.
The company had the collaborative supplier relation with Alpha specific private limited which dealt in supply of Motor Pumps.
Both these companies has strategic collaboration relation wherein the Alpha specific would supply Motor Pumps by MAKV company as and when needed by the MAK V.
The benefits of the collaboration was that Alpha specific got good profit supplying huge number of motor Pumps and MAK V removed the cost of making in-house those Pumps and benefitted by outsourcing this to Alpha specific.
The challenges were initially of Trust, transparency and compatibility. While both company had good compatibility but lacked Trust and Transparency which was also overcome by series of meetings and conferences between the executive of both the company.
