Explanation / Answer
1. What is the nature of ethical concepts and principals:
Ethical principals and concepts are required at every place when it comes to applying the ethics at workplace. The very basic nature of ethical concepts and pricipals is that they cannot be universal. Ethical values differ according to the situations, according to the cultures and organisations to organisation. Thus it is very important to understand that ethical concepts and principals may not actually be ethical at some other place.
Ethical concepts and pricipals may not be followed uniformly. There exist degree of subjectivity when it comes to formation of ethical concepts and principals. e.g. in any company, a manager may find it ethical to lay off some workers when there is less production for the benefit of the company, however the same thing may not be ethical for some other managers who cares less for profits and more for a better organisational culture where everyone is given security.
