Survey U.S.-based companies and/or organizations to identify those that have codes of ethics, officers, hotlines, training programs, etc. Then, craft your own code of ethics, which will govern your behavior in the MBA program. After you craft this code, dissect it into phrases and or concepts to show what resources from your research helped you derive the phrases/concepts. Discuss why you chose the words and concepts and why your code reads the way it does. Support your discussion with evidence from reputable resources, as well as content and concepts from the text.

a code of ethics is the most comprehensive and consists of general statements, sometomes altruistic or inspirational, that serve as principles and the basis for rules of conduct. a code of ethics should reflect top managements' desire for compliance with the values, rules and policies that support an ethical climate. the development of a code of ethics should involve the president, board of directors, and chief executive officers who will be implementing the code.
corporate code of ethics often contain about 6 core values- 1. trustworthiness, 2.respect, 3. responsibility, 4. fairness, 5. caring and 6. citizenship. the six values that are desirable for codes of ethics.
there are many US firms implementing their own code of ethics in their business, that may be includes more values than the above said. firms like Microsoft, Apple, Oracle and so on the firms which are implementing their codes.
and when it comes to my personal code; it is do not harm any one includes environment, and no self destruction, live happily without hurting others, make others happy where i was surrounded and learn new things always and practice them.
