What's the difference between catalyst and temperature when they affect equilibrium constant? I know only T could change the position through a higher kinetic energy that allows more molecules to surmount Ea barrier, but a catalyst can also lower Ea right? According to Le Chatliers principle , Temperature affects the equilibrium, If you increase the temperature, the position of equilibrium will move in such a way as to reduce the temperature again. It will do that by favouring the reaction which absorbs heat

Catalysts does have any effect on equilibrium constant, they can just speed up the rate of the reaction
