Explanation / Answer
Currently the health challenges faced by us due to the changing lifestyle, lack of excercise can lead to heart diseases as per my concern. In the past it was seen in advanced age group but in recent years it affected to the younger groups also.
According to American heart disease and stroke statistics 2015 update, More than 190countries the primary cause of death is due to heart diseases with 17.3million death each year.
As per my experience most of the elderly people admitted in the hospital are due to cardiovascular or heart related problems like Myocardial infarction, hypertension and cardiac arrest. In the United States, the American Heart Association set a goal in 2010 to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent and reduce deaths from cardiovascular diseases and stroke by 20 percent by the year 2020. I look heart disease as prime health concern because the 2017 American heart disease and stroke statistics revealed that, Cardiovascular disease (CVD) accounts for approximately 800,000 deaths in the United States (US), or one out of every three deaths. Among Americans, an average of one person dies from CVD every 40 seconds.
Cause of cardiovascular diseases can be due to atherosclerosis it can be caused due to unhealthy eating habits, poor excercise, obesity, smoking etc. People are addicted to these new changes to life they forget about own health and surrenders to many health issues. People are fine in spending money for medical expenses but does not bother about the prevention by healthy life style.
There are several measures to be taken to overcome this problem.
Once the disease is diagnosed start treatment as early as possible to prevent further complications and mortality.
