here there is no change in momentum in y -diretion.

Apply, impulse = chnage in momentum


F*dt = -m*v2**sin(alfa) - m*v*sin(alfa)

here, |v1| = |v2|, so

F*dt = -2*m*v*sin(alfa)

|F| = 2*m*v*sin(alfa)/dt

= 2*2.1*12.8*sin(53)/0.186

= 230.83 N
