a. Acceleration = dv / dt

= (7 - 9)/(6-3)

= 2/3 m/s2

b. Distance = v.dt = area under v-t curve.

= 1/2*3*9 + (1/2*3*2 + 3*7) + 1/2*5*7

= 55 m
