What statistcal test would I run in R for these questions?

Evaluate whether coral populations that experience bleaching are at a higher risk of experiencing disease. ( 2 categorical variables)

Evaluate whether certain subregions have higher bleaching prevalence rates than others? If so, identify the subregions that have higher prevalence rates than others. (There are 8 subregions)

Evaluate whether bleaching prevalence rates after 2014 are similar to those before 2014. (For Assume that each station was only sampled once (not annually).

Explanation / Answer

For evaluating the first question we will use a z test in R by comparing polulations that have different bleaching exposures to accept or reject the null hypothesis that they ahve a higher risk of experiencing disease

For the second question we will use an ANOVA test by comapring the mean bleaching prevalence rates in the 8 sub regions

For the third questions we we will use a two factor random block design to do the anova test on populations before 2014 and after 2014 to compare the average bleaching prevalence rates
