1. This group is unique in terms of its formative years which are vital for each and every child for either to develop a hethy state of mind and/or to develop a diathesis for a mental disorder. These are essential years, which transition into ones adulthood.
2. The risk factors are sundry such as, an unhealthy family environment, with either both the parents of one parent, and or unhealthy school environment or poor peer realtionshs. Or having a poor socio economic background. The protective factors are the antithesis of that it having at least one elderly figure that is a grounding person and affectionate.
3. Common mental health disorders which are visible in this age band are, Mental Retardation which is owing to prenatal and natal genetic or injury risks. Then there is ADHD. The next one could beewrnjng disabilities and then even delinquency could be included into this.
4. Community interventions could be child support and government protective laws and measures to protect abused children and society awareness tools.
