Dig is one of the reliable tool for network admins. Its basically a command line utility. It having
the command that perform DNS queries. The default output of dig command provide various information
about the network that is useful in troubleshooting and making system reliable.
Nmap Tool
Its also a very useful tool for person's work on networks. its mostly used to see which service or
ports are available on the system to use. its also have the feature of security scanning.
tcpdump with Wireshark
tcpdump with wireshark is one of the best tool for analyzing the network packets. tcpdump command can be used to capture the traffic of network. Then this captured network traffic can be open on wireshark to analyze the
performace of the network
