When most people think of "chemistry", they think of complicated equations, abstract concepts, reactions that don't matter in real life, etc. While many may think that chemistry doesn't apply to our lives or that it's all just boring stuff, in reality, there's a lot of cool chemistry research going on that you would likely never think of.
In your main post, please find an example of novel chemistry research that is going on.
