Recrystallization is the procedure to purify the substance on the basis of principle that the solubility of solute increases with the increase in temperature , and decreases at low temperature.
The solute is dissolved at higher temperature where the impurities dissolve too , and then the solution is freezed so the solute recrystallises and the impurities keep dissolved.
The solute can then be filtered out and dried to get pure crystals.
