Explanation / Answer
A) Line C] Molarity of NaOH (40.08g/1L) So M=(40.008/1)=(x/.0282) [If Vb is in mL] or (x/28.2) [If Vb is in L] which =1.128M [If mL] or 1128.226.... (I'm guessing you meant mL so from now on i'll be doing all calculations for mL's of NaOH)
(40.008/1)=(x/.02728)= 1.091M... (40.008/1)=(x/.02706)= 1.083M
B) Line B] {Again, assuming all is meant to be in mL and not L}
All you have to do is assume a 1:1 Molarity ratio since no weight of the acid/L is given, so, calculate the M of NaOH and then assume that the M of the acid is the same.
(40.008/1)=(x/[mL of NaOH for the test you are calculating M of the acid for]) Type the info in your calculator and you will have all this done in a few minutes.
Good luck on the rest of the lab!!!
P.S.) If the volume is supposed to be in Liters and not milliliters, then just multiply the end resuly of the molarities by 1000.
