REASONS WHY HEALTHCARE DATA SCIENCE IS LAGGING COMPARED TO OTHER INDUSTRY SECTORS:
Other industry sectors deal with machines and products and hence, they are easily without much risk amenable to different types of reseach activities to bring out the optimum solution available with the contraints of cost, time, facilities, etc. through extensive use of computers and internet. A lot of literature and different softwares are also available for reference by researchers so that they can easily apply. But, unfortunately in the case of health care data science, such intensive research through computers and internet is quite limited because here we are dealing with lives of patients and because of that reason we cannot go beyond a certain limit. However, we are certainly making progress through robotics, Artificial Intelligence applications to treatment of patients with diseases like cancer, T.B. etc. Certainly we can proudly say that application of computers and internet has definitely improved the health care data science by exchange of ideas among top specilized doctors in treatment of critical diseases. Of course, this is only a beginning and facilities of computers and internats should be intensified in all important hospitals and specialist doctors should be encouraged to exchage their expertise with other specialists around the world so that health care data science is not lagging compared to other industry sectors.
